Beneficiaries of the Ismayilli DOST House Branch of the DOST Inclusive Development and Creativity Center, operating under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Azerbaijan, took part in an educational tour at Gabala International Airport.
During the visit, Najaf Aliyev, Director of Gabala International Airport, introduced the participants to the airport’s operations, the aviation sector, and the key operational processes carried out at the airport.
The beneficiaries were familiarised with the passenger check-in and aviation security screening procedures, observing these processes first-hand. They also visited the airport apron, where aviation specialists provided an overview of aircraft ground handling operations and pre-flight preparation procedures.
At the end of the tour, the participants received commemorative gifts.
Such educational initiatives contribute to raising awareness of the aviation industry, promoting inclusion, and strengthening engagement between the airport and the wider community.
