Gabala International Airport is expanding its flight geography and strengthening its international presence with the launch of new regular routes.
Starting from June 19, 2025, Wizz Air Abu Dhabi will commence operations on the Abu Dhabi – Gabala – Abu Dhabi route. Flights will be operated three times a week, on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.
Beginning on July 1, IrAero Airlines will launch regular services on the Moscow (Domodedovo) – Gabala – Moscow (Domodedovo) route. Flights will be operated twice a week, on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
The opening of these routes is the result of coordinated cooperation between the airport and partner airlines. This development reflects the consistent implementation of a strategic course aimed at enhancing air connectivity, increasing international accessibility, and supporting the growth of the region’s tourism potential.
It is worth noting that work on further expanding the route network of Azerbaijan’s regional airports continues in line with the national program for strengthening transport connectivity and international integration.
