From Terminal 1 to Terminal 2 North (International to International Transfer)

Passengers arriving on an international flight at Terminal 1 and connecting to an international flight departing from Terminal 2 North may use the transfer/transit system without entering Azerbaijan.

Transfer Procedure

1. Follow “Transfer” signage upon arrival.
2. If a boarding pass is required, proceed to the Transfer Counter located within the Terminal 1 transfer facility.
3. Proceed to security screening on Level 2.
4. After completing security screening, take the escalator to Level 3.
5. Complete the visa check, if required for your final destination.
6. From Level 3, proceed down to the bus gates on Level 1 using an escalator or elevator.
7. At Gate 16, board the inter-terminal shuttle bus to Terminal 2 North (operates at regular intervals).
8. Upon arrival at Terminal 2 North, enter the Departure Hall and proceed to your departure gate.

Important Information

• Immigration and customs clearance are not required for this transfer route.
• Passengers must hold valid travel documents and any required visas for their final destination.
• Shuttle bus frequency may vary depending on operational conditions, therefore please inform the agent accordingly at the gate.
• Transfer routes are clearly marked with “Transfer” signage.
• Airport staff are available to assist passengers if required.
