Visa on arrival (International arrivals)

Eligible passengers arriving at Heydar Aliyev International Airport may obtain a Visa on Arrival, subject to the applicable entry regulations of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

Eligibility

Visa on Arrival is available only to nationals of eligible countries and in accordance with current immigration regulations.

Passengers are advised to verify their eligibility in advance by consulting the official electronic visa portal:
www.evisa.gov.az

Visa policies are subject to change, and eligibility is determined by the competent authorities.

Visa on arrival locations

Visa on Arrival services are available before immigration control at the following locations:

• Terminal 2 North:
  • Visa desks and self-service kiosks are located on the first level, prior to passport control.
• Terminal 1:
  • Visa desks and self-service kiosks are located on the second level, before immigration counters.

Passengers should follow terminal signage marked “Visa”.

Visa application process

Passengers eligible for a Visa on Arrival may be required to:

• Complete the visa application process at a visa desk or kiosk
• Present a valid passport
• Provide supporting documents if requested by immigration authorities
• Pay the applicable visa fee (payment methods may vary)

After obtaining the visa, passengers proceed directly to immigration control.

• Visa issuance is subject to approval by immigration authorities.
