Guide for passengers with invisible disabilities (Domestic Departures)

Heydar Aliyev International Airport provides supportive procedures for passengers with invisible disabilities travelling on domestic flights.

Identification and lanyards

Passengers may request a lanyard at:

  • Information Counters located at Terminal 2 South entrance, ground floor

Issuance is subject to verification of a valid identification document issued by local or foreign legal authorities.

Support during domestic procedures

With the lanyard:

  • Staff may provide calm and clear guidance
  • Passengers may receive additional time during:
    • Security screening
    • Boarding

Domestic departures do not include immigration or customs clearance.

Important information

  • Use of the lanyard is voluntary
  • Assistance is provided subject to operational conditions
  • Passengers are encouraged to allow additional time and request help whenever needed
