Security screening (Domestic departures)

After completing check-in, passengers travelling on domestic flights must undergo pre-flight security screening before proceeding to the departure gates.

Access to pre-flight security areas

Access to the pre-flight security screening area is controlled via E-gates.

  • Passengers are required to scan their boarding pass (printed or digital) at the E-gate.
  • The E-gate verifies passenger and flight information.
  • Once authentication is successful, passengers are granted access to the pre-flight security screening area.

Security personnel are available to assist passengers in case of scanning errors or access issues.

Security screening location

  • Terminal 2 South:
Pre-flight security screening checkpoints are located on the second level.

Passengers should follow terminal signage and instructions from airport staff to access the screening area.

Security screening procedure

During security screening, all passengers and their carry-on belongings are subject to inspection in accordance with applicable aviation security regulations.

At the screening checkpoint, passengers may be required to:

  • Place carry-on baggage and personal items on the X-ray conveyor belt
  • Remove outerwear (such as coats and jackets) when instructed
  • Present electronic devices separately, if requested
  • Follow all instructions provided by security personnel

Additional checks may be conducted if deemed necessary by security staff.

Prohibited and restricted items

Certain items are not permitted in security-restricted areas or on board the aircraft.

Passengers are advised to review the official list of prohibited and restricted items prior to travel.

Security personnel reserve the right to deny access to security-restricted areas or the aircraft cabin if a passenger is found in possession of items considered unsafe, even if such items are not explicitly listed.
